Reel
Reel is a model-written summary that plays once, like a short film: subject, metric, trend, risk and next step. Then it rests on the next step.
Tap the left or right side to step between scenes, press and hold to pause. Stepping past the end replays it.
Anatomy
When to use
- A briefing people glance at: an asset, a deal, a portfolio, a week.
- On a home screen or at the top of a record.
- Not for anything people must study. Use a table or a report.
Behaviour
| Scene | Content |
|---|---|
| 1 · Subject | What this is about |
| 2 · Metric | The number that matters, counted up once |
| 3 · Trend | A line drawn once |
| 4 · Risk | The one thing to watch, flagged in ochre |
| 5 · Next step | The recommended action. The reel rests here. |
Each scene lasts one beat. The reel plays once, then stops.
Best practices
- Five scenes, one idea each.
- End on an action, not a statistic.
- Mark it as model-written in the first scene.
- Never loop. A summary that repeats becomes wallpaper.
Accessibility
- ← and → change scene; Space pauses.
- Hidden scenes are hidden from screen readers; the visible one is read.
- With Still on, the reel shows one scene at a time and steps by hand.
