Review

Everything the model drafts waits for a person. Review lets people accept, edit or reject it at the size that fits the decision: a word, a value, a section, or all of it at once.

Choose the grain

GrainUseComponent
A wordTaking part of a suggestion while typingCaret: → takes one word
A passageAccepting a summary or a replyFlux
A valueKeeping or reverting each change in a tableShift
A sectionAccepting parts of a long documentRail
A queueTriage: approve, reject, snooze or hand backMorph

The flow

  1. Draft. The model writes in flowing pigment. Nothing it wrote is final yet.
  2. Inspect. Changes show what they replaced; flags mark what needs a decision.
  3. Decide. Accept, edit, revert or reject, one item at a time or all at once.
  4. Settle. Accepted work stops flowing and stays pigment. Rejected work leaves no trace in the content.

Best practices

  • Always offer the undo. “Accept all” is fine when each item can still be reverted afterwards.
  • Put the reason next to every change, with its source.
  • Flag what needs a person in ochre, and say why: “Needs you · the heads of terms say 2.5%”.
  • Move focus to the next pending item after each decision, so reviewing a long list takes one thumb.
DoShow the old value beside the new one, and let people decide each change.
Don’tDon’t overwrite a value and leave a footnote. Nobody can tell what it was, or why it changed.
